St. Michael's Home Expansion & Relocation

In 2014, the Board of Trustees purchased a new locale on Long Island upon which is being built a state-of-the-art continuum care facility, accommodating more residents and offering progressively higher levels of care.

Overview

To meet the ever-increasing needs & numbers of elderly, St. Michael’s has embarked upon an ambitious relocation and expansion project.

Project Status

As of October 2023, the project is about 70% complete and most of the exterior work on the structure has been completed.

Join Our Campaign

As we build our new magnificent state-of-the-art continuum care facility to meet the ever-increasing needs of our elderly, we need the support of every member of our community. The projected cost of this project which will impact the lives of so many people is approximately $53 million (unfortunately historic inflation which is 15%-20% in the construction industry has added $5,000,000 - $6,000,000 to our original budget). As of March 2023, 75% of that amount has been pledged, most of which have been fulfilled. We need your support to keep the construction moving forward at the same pace so that the Home can open in 2024.
