St. Michael’s Home is pleased to announce that its Annual Name Day Gala will take place on Sunday, November 13th, 2011 at the Metropolitan Club in Manhattan. The evening will begin at 4 o’clock with hors d’douvres and cocktails followed by seating at 5 o’clock for a sumptuous dinner, awards program, and dancing. Throughout the evening, guests will be treated to live music provided by Aphrodite Michaels, Panos Chrysovergis and their bands. Through the hard work of our staff and support of our donors, we will continue to provide an outstanding level of care and commitment to our elderly.

Together with our Name Day Gala, St. Michael’s honors a distinguished member of our Greek Orthodox community. This year, the recipient of the 2011 Archangel Michael Award is Mr. Panicos Papanicolaou. Mr. Papanicolaou is President of the Cyprus Foundation of America and Principal of J.F. Contracting Corporation. In addition, Mr. Papanicolaou is a magnanimous benefactor of the Greek Orthodox community through many worthy causes.
